Bedtime is giving me anxiety!

I think everyone knows by now that my boys are not cooperative at bedtime or throughout the night, mostly Dylan. Jackson sleeps well through the night, but getting him to go to bed is a challenge. We've honestly battled this since they were both babies. Last night, we put Jackson to bed and he of course screamed and cried and quickly came out of his room with this black eye (not very easy to see, but it looks way worse today and in person)! He hit it on his toy box, but I'm not sure how it happened exactly. It sounded like he fell out of his bed during his fit. I give up.......whenever we let the boys cry it out, they end up doing something dangerous or getting hurt!

Busy Weekend!

We had a great weekend! I had a great time at "girls night" with friends from high school, but I don't have any pictures to post......they are all on my friend's camera. Saturday, we had breakfast with Santa which was a really nice event. The boys loved it and again, Jackson LOVED Santa.

Telling Santa all about the tractor he wants!
Dylan, not so much!
Aiden checking out Santa
Josie with Santa
Logan and Jaycie wouldn't sit on Santa's lap. Logan is now asking to go see Santa because he's worried that he won't get his tractor that he wants. It's so cute to hear him say that he needs to tell Santa about the tractor!

We then went to the Duke Energy train display downtown.

Saturday night we went to a Christmas party, but I don't have pictures of that either :(

Santa Claus!

Here's the picture that Tom and I couldn't resist buying for WAY too much money because of how hilarious it is! Dylan immediately started crying when he saw Santa, but Jackson was so excited and he sat on Santa's lap and told him exactly what he wanted!

Brobee

My friend Suzanne's son turned two and he LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba, especially Brobee. Here's the cake that Suzanne and I made!

St. Nick

St. Nick visited our house Saturday night and the boys were very surprised to see a train under the tree! We took the boys to see Santa Saturday evening and Jackson told him he wanted a "tractor and a train, no cars, just a tractor."

Other gifts from their stockings!
My nephews love the train too!

On to bigger and better beds!

About 11 months ago we had to take off the front rail of Jackson's bed to turn it into a toddler bed because he climbed/fell out of crib!

Here's Jackson with his new bed

Last night we had to do the same thing for Dylan because he too climbed out of his crib two nights ago! Dylan must have been more graceful about it and didn't fall because we didn't know he escaped until we heard him trying to open his door.
We're lucky there were no injuries either time!
Dylan just doing a little cleaning before bed!
I can't believe both my boys climbed out of their cribs both at 18 months old!
By the way, they aren't wearing the same pajamas nor was it planned! I just noticed how much the pajama's look alike, but they are a little different - guess The Children's Place doesn't change much year to year!

Christmas "jamies"

The boys love their new Christmas jamies as Jackson calls them.

Thanksgiving

I wasn't very good about taking pictures on Thanksgiving, but I got a few!

Cute Bella!
